wow. somehow i shaved off an hour on my ‘travel time’ today. i made it home from st. olaf in about 4 and a half hours. but now my car has well over 5,000 miles on it.
(and i have only had that car for just under 2 months… and it is parked in the garage throughout the week because i walk to class. geeeze. i need to stop driving so much. .. yea.. right. like that’s gonna happen *grin*) but the miles were well worth the time i got to spend with my best friend.
i’m off to bed!

yesterday, i had no classes… so i went to work after spending most of the morning on the phone with ameritech
trying to get our dsl situation all straightened out. (which.. btw.. never did… we
ended up canceling our service only a day after getting hooked up. heh.) then i ended up leaving work early to drop some
pictures off downtown.
i was getting really frustrated with work, since i couldn’t seem to get anything working… so i thought…
“hmmm… now would be a good time to go on a ‘mini road trip‘ to see a concert.” so.. off to green bay to see
solomon’s wish (and i dragged my mom along with. *smile*)
after passing
belgium and
denmark, finding
waldo,
and going over
two rivers
and through the woods… we arrived at the bay that was green. (get it? green bay? ok yea.. i know it wasn’t funny….
but just humor me and laugh. thanks) we made very good time.. it only took a little over 2 hours to get there…
and with my cds to sing along with, the time flew by
the concert was at cup o’ joy coffee house in green bay. the band was a bit late,
so we were waiting outside for about an hour. the show was awesome, and well worth the drive, and the wait outside
:-) (and my mom was happy she went, even though it was past her bedtime *grin*)
