ok. so before i head to bed.. i just wanted to point out that i FINALLY figured out how to list archived by category. fun eh? yea… i realize that its not that big of a deal… but to me… i feel that i have finally taken one step closer to understanding how to use movable type. 
yea. today was a lazy day too… and just for fun… everyone who reads this… do me a favor. leave a comment. let see how many comments we can get going on here. say something witty… say something funny… or just say hi. anything.

what’s all this talk about butt pocket purses?

so today for our day off… i did… well… nothing really productive. well.. wait… i did get some video stuff done. i took a bunch of video clips from a vhs tape that the torbits recorded for us. it was from our program in hampstead, maryland… and also part of one of wmg’s programs here in the states. it was super fun watching wmg rock out. i can’t wait till august when we meet up with all the other teamers again! man i miss them all!!
also today.. after sleeping in… SUPER late… i went to the mall with one of my host sisters, and elisabeth. elisabeth finally got some new sunglasses to replace the ones that were in her backpack when the van was broken in to…. and i got some lotion-type things from bath and body works. i also had the chance to talk to friends back home for a bit. that is always nice to have this free day and have the chance to touch base with all my crazy friends. julia and i talked for quite a bit… about the art of ‘butt pocket purses’… and how they are ‘the wave of the future’… (or something like that) man… my friends are weird. i love it!
oh.. and can i tell you how much i love having the ability to get IM messages via my cell phone? cell phone chatting is jam packed with nerdy fun!
well… even though i slept a gazillion hours last night… i’m tired now. i’m off to bed. blessings to you all!

ok. maybe not the ‘west side’. but we are in west virginia right now
this weekend has flown by, and we really haven’t had much to do. when was the last time i wrote in here? wed? man… lets see.. what has happened since then.. well.. we played a program in middletown, new york…. then on the way to a camp right on the maryland/pennsylvania boarder, we dropped john off at the airport in newark. john’s grandma is ill, so john flew home for over a week to be with his family. we miss john a lot, but we are all very happy that he had the chance to go home. hey john, if you read this, just know that you are loved, and your family is in our prayers!
we spent two nights, with nothing to do (cept eat some AWESOME food, and partake of the BEAUTIFUL view) at a camp right next door to the underground pentagon. the camp is called ‘raven rock’ and it’s mailbox was in maryland, but by the time you got up the driveway, the actual camp was across the boarder. heh. it was also up ontop a mountain, so the view through the trees was amazing! there were lots of secadas though.. which weren’t that fun. we had the chance to go to gettysburg, where some of us went shopping, and others of us went on ‘touristy’ things… and we also finally saw shrek 2… which was HILARIOUS! it was nice to have a relaxing couple days.
now here we are in wheeling, west virginia… relaxing… again. we had a program on saturday night, and we did some special music for two church services this morning.. and now we are staying here.. with nothing to do (cept eat some awesome food!) until wednesday morning!
man.. people say.. “live on the road must be tough.” well.. i don’t think i would call eating fresh strawberries, playing tennis, and sleeping… “tough” living. God is so good to us! all the people we meet on the road are so good to us! and now, i must go… take a nap. (see… ‘tough’ isn’t it? )

here we are, in walden, new york… and i uploaded more pictures. no more of my own pictures… but a ton of john’s and lisa’s pictures. if you have a free moment, take a look in both the danmark pictures AND the return tour photos.
so i had a very relaxing day off at camp calumet. i ended up taking a nap… and not getting much else done. oh. we did get a nice ride around the lake in the pontoon boat….. the scenery was SOOO beautiful… and the sun was out… it was sooo nice… i fell asleep. heh. i really enjoyed hanging out with the pastor and the families at the weekend camp…. i already miss them! but i took lots of pictures… so many of those great memories are saved on my computer, and on my webpage. praise God for the ability to capture such treasures… not only in our minds… but in digital images also… for those times when our minds don’t work as well as we wish.
well.. i should get to bed. have a most blessed day/night everyone! remember… you ARE loved by God!
