senior picture photo shoot

i had the privilege of being hired for taking senior pictures for my cousin, and the foreign exchange student they are hosting this year…. and of course we got some other fun shots too.. but here are some of my favorites from the photo session. (sorry there’s so many… but i couldn’t seen to narrow them down any more than this )
oh, and i’m not sure if i blogged the fact that i got a brand new kick-butt photo printer.. but i did. and it’s really fun to print these out on that printer. it makes me want to do more digital photography!
but now.. i must sleep. i came down with a little illness this weekend.. and i must get some rest.

update: ok. so the concert was awesome. and i took lots of pictures. they’re not the best.. since they were with my iphone… but i don’t think i would have been able to sneak in my regular camera.. seeing as even people with small cameras were getting caught by the security guys. (i mean.. come on people! turn OFF your flash! )

so i have a little time to write a blog. lucky you!
i’ve been reflecting on being busy lately. why? because i’ve been busy! i don’t like using that excuse though. but i tend to use it all the time. why when we talk to a friend do we say “sorry we haven’t talked, but i’ve been so busy” our culture is pretty backwards when we can allow that to happen! i wish i could say that i was strong enough (or independently wealthy enough) to put a change to that in my own life.. but i wonder if it’s even possible? i mean.. we all have to work… and some work days take more out of us than others… and we just want to go home and sleep afterwards. gosh. i just wish that our culture was centered around people and not money. then maybe we would be happier people overall.
but i digress. that wasn’t even what i was going to write about. but my photos have finished uploading… so i’m going to go finish working on those. they are from my ‘senior portrait’ photo shoot this past weekend with my cousins. when i have a free moment, i’ll share some of them with you here.. but i want to make sure that i get these ready for printing before the yearbook deadline *waves*
