i didn’t think these places existed anymore. hah! but at least they have free wired internet… and they have a little ethernet cable in the room. (and i can’t tell you how i excited i was when i found that let me tell you.) but our first day of DC performances is done with, and it went much better than i even expected. we actually had never had the chance to COMPLETELY go through the program together.. so we weren’t even sure if the whole show would fit the 50 minute time slot that we had.
but it actually worked out really well. and despite the really crazy audio/video issues that i was having last minute, the video and audio actually worked out really well. also, somehow even though we didn’t get any sleep, had enough energy to make it though both performances. (me and michele had a gig last night that went until 10pm, then we had to pack up all the sound equipment, unload that.. and then pack… then we were picked up by a “shuttle” to drive us to chicago midway airport at 2:40 in the morning.)
anyways, for all you people in DC.. come see one of our free shows tomorrow at the national museum of the american indian
at noon or 3:30pm (more info here). today’s shows went great.. tomorrow will probably be even better.
