so the line starts outside… which is sad.. since i wanted to blog from the line for the iphone… but i doubt if the wireless will reach that far. so i’m in the apple store right now… they have blocked off several ROWS of the parking lot for this line… and it’s already got a good handful of people in it. so i should go join them soon…

alright. i have a major dilemma on my hands here! the iphone comes out on friday at 6pm. i plan to get to work SUPER early so i can leave SUPER early and go stand/sit in line at the apple store.
but now i learn that there will be TWO apple stores by that time! apple store mayfair and the new bayshore apple store will be having it’s grand opening at the same time as the debut of the iphone!
so now here’s the dilemma: should i go to mayfair to get my iphone or to bayshore? mayfair is closer to work.. so i would get in line earlier. but if i go to bayshore.. i would have the chance of getting a free tshirt as well! AHHHHH!!!1 !! why must apple do this to me!?!?!

when i designed everymoment.org, i decided to make my life less stressful and design my page for the latest standards compliant browsers…. and NOT try to “hack” my page for internet explorer 6 (and earlier) visitors. i figured.. if you are using that out-of-date of a browser.. you don’t deserve to see my site design.
i know…. a bit 1337 of me… but i didn’t care.
well today i found an EASY hack so that ie 5.5 and greater will show my transparent .png’s
but seriously folks… if you are browsing the internet with ie 6 or less you should stop that. stop it now! your browser is out of date, buggy, and NOT SECURE! go download this or this RIGHT AWAY!!! (and yes.. i AM shouting. i cannot express how INSANELY ANNOYING it is to have to design a website.. and then have to BREAK the page so that it will work on internet explorer! please.. for the sanity of all web designers out there…)

so i just installed the photoshop cs3 beta last night.. and my love for adobe has grown stronger. this program just FLYS on my macbook pro.. i can’t wait for the whole cs3 suite to come out.. according to adobe’s website, it will be ready to ship at the end of april! *drool*
anyways.. i just had to share my excitement. adobe rocks my world.

last night, i took pictures at a kickboxing class at alive & kickin… and ended up taking 1,337 pictures. all you g33ks out there will find that funny. (and no.. i didn’t upload them all… but you can find all the pics here.)
and in other news.. the office is being transformed into ‘party central’ for our holiday party. i’ll be taking pictures. (surprise!

anyways.. milwaukee folks… put saturday, january 27th on your calendar. that’s the next metafour gig. 9-midnight. mosaic piano bar (east side of milwaukee), no cover. be there. it will be fun.

ok. i realize that i don’t need to remind people about my nerdyness… BUT i just have to post about how extremely excited i am for steve’s keynote at macworld tomorrow! i even made an event in my work calendar to remind me to tune in to see what will be announced.
