this week’s photo hunters theme is “five”.. and i thought i’d try to take a unique perspective of “five”. so here is a picture of sensei thom, who’s a fifth degree black belt….

amazing… isn’t it?

this week’s photo hunters is “childhood”… and what perfect timing for this.. since i’ve been reflecting on this a lot since i re-connected with my birth mom on wednesday. she has been sending me pictures.. both current and past… so here’s a picture she sent yesterday. perfect for the “childhood” theme

so i missed last week’s photo hunters… so i’m posting both last week and this week themes. the first is steps.. which is self explanatory

and this week is ‘rare’… and it’s rare to have such crazy and awesome friends… especially ones who have so much fun taking pictures with a mannequin head… so here’s my ‘rare’ theme

and hey.. don’t forget about the meta four jazz quartet gig tonight at the mosaic piano bar!!! everyone in the milwaukee (or surrounding cities) area(s) please come!!
(and just in case you forgot the details.. here’s the ‘flyer’ again
)

this week’s photo hunters theme is ‘hobby’. i have so many “hobbies” .. it was hard to narrow it down. but i figured.. graphic design and photography are more than just a hobby.. it’s also my profession.. so i chose music as my hobby. here’s me playing the drums with metaFour jazz quartet

for this week’s photo hunters pic.. i’m posting a funny pic. this is michele cleaning her couch. she swears that using the FULL vacuum works better than using the attachments… i just think she’s crazy.

hey all. first off.. thanks for participating in this month’s free for all friday. i’ll actually be leaving my FFAF open until tomorrow morning.. since i got a bit of a late start.. so feel free to post if you want. but i wanted to take the ‘sticky’ post off, so i could post this week’s photo hunters pic a bit early. this week the theme is ‘water’… so i had a hard time narrowing this down.. but i decided on using a picture that i took for my photography class when i was in college. this was taken in an abandoned warehouse in the fifth ward of milwaukee.

alrighty. i found another fun thing on the web.. and i’m going to start participating in the weekly photo hunters… so here’s my first one… “empty”

:-)
