it's like the first day of school all over again

hey all, i’m heading to bed now.. but i just wanted to write a quick post about my first day at my new job today (well… yesterday.. since it’s past midnight). it was fun. i’m sure i won’t remember everyone’s names.. but at least i got a map of the office to help me out. 
i almost got my new work computer all set up how i want it.. and i’m still figuring out what to do with my office. it’s kinda funny to say, but it almost feels like when i moved into the dorms. that same kind of white wall, empty room type of feel. once i get some sort of couch in there and add more wall decorations i’m sure it will help feel more like a productive working environment.
alright. now i’m off to bed. g’night all!black sheep dvdrip download

i realize that i’ve been “silent” on my blog lately.. and just posting pictures. some people would say that i was ignoring my blog. i actually see it as a different way of blogging. i tend to think using pictures and colors more than words… so i guess it’s very fitting for me to be blogging pictures of my life.
but since not everyone thinks the same way… i’ll still chime in with a text blog.
i’ve actually not been in the mood for sitting down to write lately. it almost seems as if this “anti-writing” mood is in direct relation to my “ultra-design/artsy inspired” times… and that my brain doesn’t have the energy to multi-task in “communication methods” or something. but either way… i’ve really been getting a lot done during my artsy-fartsy inspiration-spurt. i’ve come up with a couple tshirt designs… a website design… and hopefully this will continue this weekend and i’ll get a book cover designed and some other website stuff done too. i’ve also been having lots of fun re-installing all my programs on my new computer and right now.. i have my new laptop hooked up to my 30″ monitor Michael divx and my surround sound stereo… and have been going crazy with my design stuff. i love it!
and while i design.. i always listen to music. and i just have to express my re-found love for melissa etheridge’s music. and especially this song (and the video is AWESOME. you must watch.) i love it so much i bought the video off of itunes today. anyways.. watch this.. it will make you happy. trust me
on that note.. i’m going to go to bed. (or maybe i’ll watch the video again.. and then go to bed. )

first off… happy thursday everyone! sorry i haven’t had many words to share with you… but pictures are worth a 1,000 words.. right? so maybe i’ve actually been flooding you with words? *pause* well… whatever.
anyways. i’m sitting here at work… just finished a chicken patty and cottage cheese breakfast (breakfast of champions, i tell ya!) … it’s raining outside. and i just found out that our beloved food critic for the journal sentinel, dennis getto, passed away. and for those of you here in milwaukee who listen to 88nine – radio milwaukee, (and even those who don’t listen yet… but should ) there’s a contest going on for an iphone. so go donate some money to that fabulous radio station and enter your name to win an iphone. it’s today only.. so better hurry.
ok. and now since i’ve been typing this.. it sounds like the rain has stopped. but it still feels like a ‘lazy-sleepy’ type day. i sure hope the weather clears up this evening, for the “holy bratfest” at my church tonight.
anyways. gotta get back to work. i’m sure i’ll be swamped with new stuff next week (since one of our fellow designers is leaving *sad face*) so i need to get ahead of my work this week so i’m not found crying in the corner next week. *waves*
