em#8: Global Music training event

February 10th, 2009

The Perfect Sleep

music is a beautiful thing. one of my favorite parts about music is that it is so deeply rooted in cultures throughout the world, and spans throughout time. the Global Missions department of the ELCA church invited 50 musicians to spend a weekend to enjoy, learn, share and celebrate global music in the Church…. and of course we also had a lot of fun. -)

Both the concert and the workshop will be in my living room, at 8131 N. Green Bay Road / Brown Deer, WI. For more information, take a look at LivingRoomSessions.com

Also, to help out with travel costs, I’m asking for a small donation from everyone. But there is no “tickets” to buy.. and friends are *more* than welcome! Come early to get a good seat!

Please send me an email to let me know if you are coming, so i can make sure to have enough refreshments for everyone! I hope to see you on Saturday!
