2009 seems to have been the year for me to invade countries and cities that i had never stepped foot in before. first london (in may) and now paris in december. the main purpose for my trip was to attend the two day conference, LeWeb ’09… but the cheapest flight prices “forced” me to spend a whole week in paris. (i know.. i know.. rough. wasn’t it? ) so here is two hours of video from my week long trip to paris, whittled down to 10 minutes 14 seconds. enjoy

this video is a collection of raw video from milwaukee’s pridefest 2009. this is me playing drums on the main stage with emily white. the video was captured by the official pridefest video-girl, and my good friend, the very talented jessica janiuk.

it was so much fun to play with these guys! and believe it or not, this was the first time all three of us had played together. ever. but anyways, go check out emily white’s music and buy a million of her CDs.

so it’s been a while since i’ve made a video. and not because i haven’t been up to some awesome stuff.. but because i’ve been up to *too* much awesome stuff.

so this update is basically just a random update… random video and random events from my week. my week included lots of work on web design stuff (but that doesn’t make for very interesting video… so it’s not really represented here), saving a friend’s windows PC from a computer virus, the montly web414 meeting, and some video from indian summer festival down at milwaukee’s lakefront. live’s too short to be bored.. right?

yes.. i know i have been a slacker blogger. which is why i’m thinking about changing the direction of this site a bit. (but not *too* much… just a little.)

i’ve been talking about starting up a podcast for a while now, so i finally decided on trying out my luck at the “video podcasting” world. now i thought of buying yet *another* domain name for such a venture.. but when i look at my godaddy.com account and see that i have to PAGE THROUGH all my domain names… i think it’s a good idea to stick with what i have for now. (who knows.. maybe it will expand to another domain… but for now i think it’s safe enough to just utilize what i have)

so everymoment.org will soon be changing directions.. from a blog… to a video podcast.

now this probably wont’ happen overnight (although.. i have been known to stay up all night and create a website.. actually.. most of my websites were done in that manner…) but i will be putting together a completely different look to this site… and you’ll start seeing more video than text. (plus, it’s easier for me to just talk than to type all this. and my thoughts are to keep the archive of the blog up here, and possibly keep a category for text/picture blog entries.)

oh yea, and if you want to see my new “toy” for this endeavor… take a look at this video of me unboxing my brand new mino HD flip cam!
